**Reminder: We do not accept holiday or seasonal items at any time of the year.**

Furniture and accessories are received Tuesday – Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.  

All drop-off’s are received at the rear of the store (Look for our blue chair on the door). Please ring the doorbell for assistance.

We accept furniture and home décor items.

For furniture drop-offs, please call a few days in advance to schedule an appointment. Due to space limitations, we are unable to accept unscheduled furniture drop-offs. The store number is 813 909-2411.

Please limit all drop-off’s to 30 items per day.

All items must be in good shape, clean, smoke free, with no evidence of a pet.

We offer a 50/50% consignment split.

A free pick-up service for furniture is available within a 15 mile drive from our store.  A slight charge applies after 15 miles.

The Room Exchange sets the price on all items.

We are happy to provide an estimated price range for furniture items based on an emailed photograph and any information provided.  Please email your photo to theroomexchange@gmail.com. If possible, items such as pillows and knick knacks should be removed from the furniture before photo and it is best to take a well lighted picture. Please allow up to 72 hours for response.

All prices are determined by style, brand, condition and selling potential. The Room Exchange reserves the right to decline any items based on condition and/or style.

Periodically, some items are placed on a temporary hold in order to clear out the current inventory. Please contact the store at 813-909-2411 to inquire about “temporary hold items”.

  • Coffee/end/sofa tables
  • Dining/kitchen table sets
  • Entertainment Units (must have TV stand)
  • Lamps
  • Office furniture
  • Rugs
  • Sofas/loveseats/ upholstered chairs
  • TV armoires (must be 6 foot tall and over)

We DO NOT ACCEPT:

  • California King beds
  • Ceiling fans
  • Clocks (except working Grandfather clocks)
  • Cribs or Toddler beds
  • Curtains/drapery
  • Dining table chairs without tables
  • Dining tables without chairs
  • Fine china
  • Holiday/seasonal décor
  • Linens (all types)
  • Mattresses or box springs
  • Waterbeds
  • Outdated styles (including, but not limited to, older cane-back dining sets, older pastel or floral patterned upholstery, polished brass, lacquer furniture, or entertainment units without a TV stand.  Please see a store associate for details concerning any outdated styles

Payment & Consignment Contract

We offer a 4-month consignment contract (120 days).

Prices are automatically reduced 10% every 30 days.

Consignment checks are automatically mailed no later than the 10th of every month following the month of sale.

If preferred, your check may be picked up the 1st-4th of each month. Please bring your photo ID.
