Consigning
| We accept furniture and home décor items for consignment. All items must be clean, smoke and free of pet hair.

Furniture pick-up is free within 15 miles. For every additional 5 miles there is a $10 fee payable at the time of scheduling.
| Furniture and accessories may be dropped off at the store for consignment
Tuesday through Saturday
11:00 AM - 6:00 PM. (Appointments are not necessary however; please
call ahead to ensure help is available for the unloading of heavy
items).
| For all drop-offs, please come to the back of the store and ring the
door bell. Please limit all drop-off’s to a maximum of 30 items per
day.
| Periodically, items are placed on a “temporary hold” in order to clear
out current inventory. Please contact the store at 813-909-2411 to
inquire if we are not receiving particular items.
| The lazy summer months are upon us and our showroom is stock full of beautiful items for your everyday spaces. Please call us prior to dropping off items for consignment to ensure we have the space available. Your cooperation is appreciated. Thank you!.
Payments and Consignment Contract
| Checks for items sold will be available the 1st of every month following the month of sale.
| Checks are available for pick-up at the store between the 1st and
5th of every month and are mailed out no later than the 10th. It is the
consignor’s responsibility to provide a current mailing address.
| If an item has not sold within the 4 month contract period, the
consignor can pick the item up or have it delivered for the standard
delivery fee. The Room Exchange can also reduce the selling price to
50% off of its original price. Should the item fail to sell at ½ off,
The Room Exchange will contact the consignor to determine if the item
is to be picked-up, delivered, or donated. We will be happy to send tax
receipts upon request.
Shopping
| Store hours are Monday – Saturday 10:00am – 7:00pm and Sunday 12:00pm – 5:00pm.
| We can store an item for up to 7 days after purchase. For every additional 7 days, a 5% storage fee will be charged.
| We offer a 5-day hold policy. A 5% cash or check only deposit will
hold an item for up to 5 days. All holds are non-refundable and
non-transferable.
| Due to contractual obligations, ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
| The Room Exchange is unable to take returns. Please inspect all merchandise carefully.
Deliveries
| We offer a delivery service.
| The delivery fees are based upon zip code. Please contact the store at 813-909-2411 for the delivery rate to your area.
| The delivery fee is for up to 10 items. (A table with 4 chairs is considered 1 piece).
| A $10 fee will be charged for each flight of stairs.
| Please ensure an appropriate size area is cleared prior to delivery.
