Most of the old folk formulas for furniture polish ask for 1/4 cup of oil, plus a few drops of vinegar. However in hot weather there is a risk of the oil going rancid. We recommend reversing the ratios.
Our recipe:
1/4 white distilled vinegar or lemon juice plus a few drops of oil. Choose the oil with the longest shelf life, like olive oil. Our best choice for oil is liquid wax jojoba.
